Collaborating to better manage critical assets

From 2011 to 2016 international water research organisations, Australian water utilities and three
Australian universities came together to undertake fundamental research in how critical water pipes fail and the conditions leading to failure.
It was a interesting project to address problems which mattered to many, managing critical assets in this case water pipes which is a integral to the infrastructure of cities and towns.

There are two interesting lessons to learn from this collaboration :
1. How different organisations come together and agreed a model to collaborate on a significant issue ?

2. The impact created by the research and findings which seem to benefit not only the water utilities but also the rest of the infrastructure providers like transport, power, land etc.

ResonVate Thought
Academic and industry collaboration through research innovation delivers impactful outcomes to predict failures in critical water pipes.

I would like to ResonVate
with ideas on  teaming strategy,resiliency
which can be applied in complex problem solving, effective collaboration design
in areas like Government, Healthcare, Technology, Public infrastructure
